What We Do
tribe is a media organisation that supports journalism in all of its forms. We work with partners across the globe to produce amazing creative and journalistic projects. We support a wide range of people of all ages to engage in journalism and media, and to follow their interests, be it in culture, society, the environment or science and technology.
How We Do It
tribe uses free tools as much as possible, and where not possible, sources cheap and easy to use web-based and cloud-based technologies to connect and publish work globally. We believe that both connectivity and collaboration are key to driving creativity and making great things happen, and see technology as a major democratising force in that process.
Why We Do It
We want to make the world a better place through the application of connectivity, collaboration and creativity. We want to explore what is possible using just free tools and an internet connection. We want to share great work already happening and we want to collaborate to make new work which changes lives for the better.
tribe is a resource to be used, a connector of dots, an index of possibilities. We publish the work of others and we create projects in partnership.

Partner Working
tribe is committed to supporting the work of charities, NGO’s, and socially engaged social enterprises and CIC’s, by using creativity and tribe’s international platform, to create amazing projects. We can work with a wide range of beneficiaries anywhere in the world, to provide a fantastic learning and participatory experience, as well as creating a piece of work that not only the beneficiaries will be proud of, but the participating organisation can use as a unique piece of evidence.
